Motion sensors also provide hands-free illumination. Furthermore, fixtures can be programmed to always illuminate at 80% to save on bulb life and be programmed to operate alongside the shades and thermostat.
Keypads can be used for window coverings control. Control4 works with some of the world’s leading shade manufacturers such as Lutron, QMotion and Somfy. It provides seamless experience through manual control or automated settings that work alongside your lights to increase energy efficiency.
BOOST SECURITY
With Control4’s Mockupancy™ setting, your lights can turn on and off at intervals to simulate occupancy inside of your home while you’re away. Lights, shades and even TVs can randomly activate so it appears that someone is at home. Motion sensors can be programmed to turn lights on if movement is detected and then send you an alert when the sensor in that area is triggered. Additionally, lights can flash on and off repeatedly when the security alarm is triggered, drawing more attention to a security breach.
UPDATE
After the lastest Control4 Smart home OS upgrade to 3.3.0, the color wheel is avaliable. Colour Wheel, a unique driver from Janus technology, is providing a sleek, colourful and intuitive web interface for Control4. It allows easy control of multiple lighting channels adapting to type of light controller.
